Dope Lemon is hitting the road again. The laid-back alias of Angus Stone has locked in a fresh run of shows across Australia and New Zealand this winter.
The performer will embark on the tour in support of his fifth full-length, Golden Wolf which arrives on 2 May.
The Golden Wolf World Tour kicks off on July 22 in Fremantle. It later winds through Melbourne, Barwon Heads, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane, before heading across the ditch for shows in Wellington and Auckland. It’s Dope Lemon’s first headline lap of our shores since joining Post Malone’s 2023 arena tour, and demand is already climbing.
Built on smoky grooves, dusty hooks, and mellow energy, Dope Lemon’s sound lives in the liminal space between introspection and escapism. It’s earned him a global fanbase, critical nods, and major festival slots, from Lollapalooza to Austin City Limits. But it’s the local rooms — from pubs to theatres — where I would say his music hits the hardest.
Golden Wolf follows 2023’s Kimosabè, which cracked the ARIA Top 10. It promises a looser, more sunburnt spin on his signature palette, drawing from both stoned nostalgia and desert daydreams. The numbers are no joke either: over 700 million streams, 565,000 album sales, and millions of Shazams.
Expect a set heavy on vibes and velvet vocals, backed by tight production and a crowd locked into every beat. If past tours are anything to go by, these shows won’t stay available for long.
Live Nation and artist presales kick off April 4 at 12pm local. General sale starts April 7 at 1pm.
Tickets can be purchased via livenation.com.au and livenation.co.nz.
