Drake’s Anita Max Win Tour has officially been cancelled. After days of speculation, the rapper has pulled the plug on his remaining Australian and New Zealand dates. The news has since left fans scrambling for answers.
A statement from Drake’s camp just confirmed the cancellation, blaming “a scheduling conflict.” They claim they’re “actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows.” All existing tickets will stay valid, and refunds will be available. Considering, however, that every show was sold out, any refunded tickets will be resold if new dates are announced.
Drake was meant to continue his run with a Brisbane show on March 4, an extra Sydney stop on March 7, and back-to-back nights in Auckland on March 15 and 16. But as ticket links vanished and venues refused to comment, it became clear something was up. Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena still lists the March 7 date, but there are no tickets available. Brisbane’s March 4 show has been completely erased from existence.
The cancellation comes after Drake wrapped up a run of massive shows. This included a rare Perth gig—his first in WA since 2015—and headline sets in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. It also comes in the wake of Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, where he performed ‘Not Like Us’ in front of 100 million people, taking one final victory lap in their one-sided feud. If Drake had any response planned, it won’t be happening on stage in Australia.
That doesn’t mean he’s been quiet. He just dropped a surprise collab album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, marking his first chart-topping record since last year’s Kendrick battle.
The Anita Max Win Tour—named after a viral gambling joke from his 2023 livestreams—was supposed to keep rolling through March. Whether those promised rescheduled dates actually materialise or if this is just the end of the run remains to be seen.
