Dropkick Murphys Dedicate ‘First Class Loser’ To Donald Trump In Explosive Warped Tour Performance

Dropkick Murphys took aim at Trump during Vans Warped Tour Long Beach, dedicating ‘First Class Loser’ to the President alongside footage of him with Jeffrey Epstein.

Dropkick Murphys didn’t hold back during their Vans Warped Tour set in Long Beach on July 27, using their performance to directly criticise Donald Trump. The band dedicated their single ‘First Class Loser’ to the former president, pairing the track with visuals of Trump alongside convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Kicking off the song, the band said they wouldn’t “get too political”, before going on to dedicate the track to the President (without initially naming him) and alleging that the person in question “rapes women, touches kids,” before launching straight into ‘First Class Loser’ to roars from the crowd.

Check out our own footage and fan-filmed videos of the moment below:

The video screens behind them displayed footage of Trump with Epstein, timed to lyrics like “He’s a bully, he’s a jerk, he’s everything that you despise / But you can’t just tune him out because he’s too loud to ignore.” The crowd erupted in response, with chants of “release the files” breaking out between verses.

Mid-song, the screens projected a quote Trump gave to New York magazine in 2002, which read: “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” As the chorus repeated, the words “First class loser” lit up behind Dropkick Murphys in bold lettering.

Dropkick Murphys has never been shy about expressing political views, but this performance marked one of their most direct criticisms of Trump to date. They’re not the only act to use the Warped Tour platform to share political messages, either – bands like Stray From The Path and Fever 333 also spoke out against police corruption, racism, and Israel during their performances.
