Evanescence have announced three intimate headline Australian shows ahead of touring with Metallica.
Evanescence have announced three exclusive Australian headline shows, giving fans a rare chance to see the band up close before they join Metallica on the M72 World Tour.
Presented by Triple M, Destroy All Lines and TEG Live, the band will perform in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney across October and November. Each show promises an intimate setting for a setlist packed with Evanescence favourites, offering an experience far removed from the stadiums they’ll soon be filling.
Fronted by Amy Lee, Evanescence broke through with their 2003 debut Fallen, an album that redefined early 2000s rock with its mix of heavy riffs, symphonic textures and Lee’s commanding vocals. The record has since gone on to achieve rare RIAA Diamond certification and earned the band two GRAMMY Awards. Across five studio albums, Evanescence have remained a dominant force, collaborating with artists across genres while continually reshaping their sound.
The band’s most recent releases include ‘Afterlife’, written for Netflix’s Devil May Cry series, and ‘Fight Like A Girl’ featuring K. Flay, taken from the soundtrack for the John Wick spinoff, Ballerina. Frontwoman Amy Lee dropped a track alongside Poppy and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox just last week, as well.
