Evanescence Add Second Melbourne Show To 2027 Australia & New Zealand Tour After First Date Sells Out

Demand for Evanescence’s 2027 return to Australia and New Zealand is already surging, with a second Melbourne arena date officially added after the band’s original show sold out.

Announced today by Live Nation, the additional Evanescence performance will take place at Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, March 10th, giving Victorian fans another opportunity to catch the Grammy winning rock outfit as they celebrate their expansive catalogue alongside their new album, Sanctuary, which is out now.

Biggest headline tour

The newly expanded run marks Evanescence’s biggest regional headline tour in years and follows the band’s most recent Australian visit in late 2025, where they joined Metallica’s M72 World Tour and delivered a run of intimate side shows.

Evanescence are expected to bring a set spanning more than two decades of music, fans can expect defining songs from Fallen including Bring Me to Life, Going Under and My Immortal, alongside newer material from Sanctuary including Afterlife and Who Will You Follow.

The tour kicks off in Perth before moving through Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, before wrapping up with a New Zealand exclusive performance in Auckland.
