‘Get ’Em While They’re Hot’—But Fans Are Still Waiting for Ahren Stringer’s Prints

Share

More than two months after Ahren Stringer’s final run of Amity Affliction art prints went on sale, a growing number of fans say they still haven’t received their orders—despite being charged.

Some claim they’ve been waiting even longer, with missing print orders dating as far back as September 2024.

Stringer’s final Amity art prints went live on 27 January, accompanied by a pointed declaration: “Once again these will be the last Amity paintings I’ll ever make so get ’em while they’re hot.” The comment—made amid speculation over his departure from the band—was covered in our earlier.

Now, fans are voicing frustration over what they say is a lack of communication and unfulfilled purchases. Across social media platforms, over 20 fans have publicly stated they either never received a print or never heard back after reaching out to the listed contact email. A number of these fans have since begun the process of lodging refund claims through their banks.

A third party named Bri, who appears to be handling fulfilment, posted on 28 February that she had flown to Australia to organise shipping and was prioritising domestic (Australian) orders.

“We’ve decided to ship out Australian prints first so that we can focus on people who have had issues before with other purchases.”

But weeks later, Bri posted a personal update citing major delays:

“I’m not at home at the moment as my mother is dealing with a medical diagnosis and I am back in my hometown caring for her as well as working my full time job.”

“Also please keep in mind that most of the east coast of Australia has been dealing with Alfred so postal services were/are cancelled at the moment.”

While some fans have since received their prints—often without any email confirmation or tracking—others are still waiting.

Stringer himself has kept quiet on the broader issue, but responded to one comment online with:

“It’s disappointing isn’t it, file a complaint and get a refund.”

That response hasn’t sat well with everyone, especially those who claim their refund requests have gone unanswered.

One fan summed it up bluntly:

“To see him swinging around patiently waiting for Cyclone Alf, well we are all patiently waiting for our prints, an update or a refund. Great way of keeping your fans.”

At the time of publishing, there has been no official statement from Stringer or clarification on when the remaining orders will be fulfilled.

Blunt will update this story as more information becomes available.
