LANDMVRKS ignited Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Saturday in a frenzied debut headline show.
Sydney’s Metro Theatre was a pressure cooker on Saturday night as French metalcore giants LANDMVRKS tore through their first-ever Australian headline show, and made damn sure it won’t be their last.
Melbourne’s Fallweather kicked things off, bringing their polished post-hardcore edge to an already-packed room. Bad Juju followed with a set full of grungy hooks and high energy, ripping through fan favourites with just the right amount of chaos. The crowd was warmed up, restless — and ready.
LANDMVRKS stormed the stage, wasting zero time before unloading Creature and Death in rapid-fire succession. It was all strobe lights and circle pits from the jump. Frontman Florent Salfati commanded the stage like a man possessed, switching from throat-shredding screams to soaring cleans without missing a beat.
Blistering and A Line in the Dust hit like a freight train, while Visage and Say No Word added emotional weight to the carnage. An acoustic moment with Suffocate gave everyone a breather — but not for long.
From Scars to Blood Red, every song landed like a battle cry. The pit spun, the stage lights pulsed, and LANDMVRKS looked right at home in the eye of the storm. Even Les Vagues brought a haunting interlude before the final onslaught.
They closed with the knockout combo of Self-Made Black Hole and Lost in a Wave, the crowd screaming every lyric like their lives depended on it.
LANDMVRKS delivered a set that was tight, intense, and impossible to look away from — a debut that hit all the right notes.
