Gideon are keeping their foot firmly on the throttle heading deeper into 2026, unleashing their chaotic new single ‘4×4’ alongside a brand new official music video via Sumerian Records.
If the band’s recent output has proven anything, it’s that Gideon have absolutely zero interest in softening their sound, and ‘4×4’ only pushes that further.
The Alabama quartet arrive swinging with another punishing blend of metallic hardcore, southern groove and sheer aggression, delivering a track that feels engineered specifically to detonate live rooms.
The video is a fun one, featuring horses, a truck doing circle work and very country themed, but metal. Make sense? Check it out below:

The release follows previous single ‘Wrong One’, which has already pulled in more than one million Spotify streams alongside hundreds of thousands of YouTube views since dropping earlier this year.
Together, the tracks continue building momentum around what’s shaping up to be one of the band’s most relentless eras yet.

On the road ‘Let It Rip’ tour
Fresh off tearing through major US festivals including Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival last weekend, Gideon are currently on the road for the ‘Let It Rip Tour’ alongside our own Alpha Wolf, Mugshot and Resolve.
They’ll also appear at Aftershock later this year, further cementing the band’s place among the most consistently intense live acts in modern heavy music.

Over the years, Gideon have carved out a reputation for refusing to stay confined to one lane, pulling from hardcore, nu metal, southern rock and metalcore while still sounding unmistakably like themselves.
‘4×4’ continues that streak, it’s loud, ugly, pissed off and designed to hit like a truck, exactly what you’d want from Gideon.
