Glastonbury Fans Are Convinced Radiohead Will Return to Glastonbury in 2025

The Glastonbury rumour mill never really sleeps, but this week it’s spitting out something really worth paying attention to: a possible secret set from Radiohead.

The iconic 90s rock outfit hasn’t played the farm since 2017, but a well-placed theory doing the rounds online has fans convinced they’re due for a return. The clue? A freshly announced tour conveniently lining up with this year’s Glasto dates.

Reddit, naturally, lit the fuse. One fan dropped the theory: “Radiohead—there, I said it. Last played 2017, touring this year. Long shot, but hey.” Others were quick to jump on board. “You never know, surprise set somewhere maybe,” another chimed in. For a fanbase starved of curveballs in this year’s official line-up, the optimism is real.

So far, Glastonbury 2025 has confirmed The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo as headliners. Sir Rod Stewart is locked in for the Legends slot. But despite the weight those names carry, the backlash has been loud. Some fans are calling it the worst line-up the festival’s had in years.

No surprise, then, that the idea of Radiohead popping up quietly, without fuss has sparked some real hope. Thom Yorke and crew have headlined Glasto five times already, stretching back to 1997. They know the turf. And if anyone knows how to do a low-key ambush set with maximum payoff, it’s them.

Plus, with The Prodigy, Deftones, and Biffy Clyro already on the bill, the heavier end of the spectrum isn’t underfed. But a secret Radiohead set would tip the balance. It’s the kind of move Glasto lives for.

There’s no official word yet. But, if Radiohead are indeed gearing up for a tour, it’s hard to believe Worthy Farm isn’t on their radar. If nothing else, the theory’s made Glastonbury feel unpredictable again. And that’s exactly what it needs.
