The network is alive. Good Things Festival is returning and the latest edition is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet.
Australia’s largest travelling celebration of heavy, alternative, punk, metal and everything in between has revealed its enormous 2026 line-up, bringing a sprawling collection of international icons, scene favourites, Australian heavyweights and some of the most exciting emerging artists to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this December.

Highlights
At the top of the bill is none other than Limp Bizkit, returning to Australia as Good Things Festival headliners following their unforgettable appearance at the 2023 edition. With more than three decades of chaos, riffs, grooves and nu-metal mayhem behind them, the band remain one of the most recognisable acts to emerge from the late ’90s alternative explosion.
From Nookie and Break Stuff to Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle) and beyond, Limp Bizkit have built a catalogue that continues to connect with multiple generations. Their return promises the kind of enormous, unpredictable live spectacle that has made Fred Durst and co. perennial festival favourites around the world.
Joining them at the top of the Good Things 2026 bill are pop-punk titans Simple Plan and modern metal powerhouse Spiritbox.
Simple Plan have spent more than two decades turning songs like I’m Just A Kid, I’d Do Anything, Perfect and Welcome To My Life into generational anthems.
Meanwhile, Spiritbox have established themselves as one of the defining heavy bands of the current era, combining crushing metalcore with atmospheric electronics and soaring melodies.
The line-up only gets bigger from there
Australian metalcore favourites Polaris will bring their ferocious live show to the festival, while The All-American Rejects will make their first Australian festival appearances in more than 17 years. Punk legends Bad Religion will celebrate their 45 + 1 anniversary, bringing decades of melodic punk history to the Good Things stages.
Canada’s Alexisonfire will perform their landmark 2006 album Crisis in full as part of a special 20th anniversary celebration. Australia’s own Grinspoon will also return, bringing more than three decades of alt-rock history and a catalogue packed with songs that have become staples of Australian rock culture.
There is another full-album celebration in store, with Swedish skate-punk veterans Millencolin performing their platinum-certified classic Pennybridge Pioneers in full.
Even more big acts
The bill continues with Bilmuri, Ministry, Chad Gray, MxPx, Neck Deep, Speed, Slowly Slowly, P.O.D., The Devil Wears Prada and Australian rock royalty Choirboys.
For Ministry, the 2026 festival appearances will be particularly significant, marking the band’s final Australian performances. Meanwhile, Chad Gray will celebrate 30 years of madness with a set drawing from his Mudvayne and HELLYEAH catalogues.
And that’s still not the end of it.
Good Things Festival 2026 will also feature All Them Witches, The Black Queen, Future Palace, Headwreck, The Home Team, House Of Protection, ivri, Kami Kehoe, Locked Shut, LØLØ, vianova and Indonesian metal trio Voice Of Baceprot, alongside the chaos of Stage 666.
The result is a line-up that stretches across generations and subgenres, moving from foundational punk and industrial pioneers through to contemporary metalcore, hardcore, pop punk, alternative rock, electronic experimentation and the next wave of artists pushing heavy music somewhere new.
For Australian fans, there are also plenty of homecoming moments. Speed will return to hometown territory after their rapid rise from Sydney’s hardcore scene to international festival stages including Coachella, Reading & Leeds and Sick New World. Headwreck will once again bring their glitch-heavy sound to the festival after appearing as a secret guest at the 2025 Brisbane edition, while Slowly Slowly will return following years of growth across Australia’s indie and pop-punk landscape.
Elsewhere, MxPx will make their first Australian appearance in 13 years, LØLØ will make her Australian debut, and All Them Witches will return after making their first Australian appearances earlier this year.
With three massive days locked in across Australia’s east coast, Good Things Festival is once again preparing to turn racecourses and showgrounds into a sprawling celebration of alternative culture.
