Haywire have confirmed new November dates for their postponed Australian headline tour, with Newcastle’s Feel The Pain joining them for a run that includes two Sydney shows in one day.
Promoter Last Ride Records previously announced that visa issues had forced the Boston hardcore band to postpone their August visit. The revised schedule starts on the Gold Coast on 18 November.
Feel The Pain will appear across the headline run except Perth. Brisbane’s show is now at The Triffid on 19 November, while Sydney gets a Hunters Hill Hall matinee and a night at The Lansdowne on 22 November.
The original Byron Bay show could not be rescheduled. Theprp reports that tickets for that date will be refunded.
Existing tickets remain valid for the rescheduled shows. For the Lansdowne date, Moshtix lists a refund-request deadline of 6pm on 8 November for anyone unable to attend the new date.
The return follows Haywire’s Australian shows supporting Poison The Well earlier this year. They will arrive with their new Roadrunner Records album, I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye, now out, moving from those earlier support slots into smaller headline rooms.
For Feel The Pain, the run continues a year that has already included shows with Turnstile, Gridiron and Iron Mind. The Newcastle band also travelled to New Zealand for their first overseas performances, according to Last Ride Records.
The rescheduled headline dates are:
- 18 November: Vinnie’s Dive, Gold Coast
- 19 November: The Triffid, Brisbane
- 20 November: Hamilton Station, Newcastle
- 21 November: Gong Crawl, Wollongong
- 22 November: Hunters Hill Hall, Sydney, matinee
- 22 November: The Lansdowne, Sydney
- 23 November: Lynott’s Lounge, Perth, without Feel The Pain
- 24 November: Jive, Adelaide
- 25 November: Prince Bandroom, Melbourne
Haywire will then join Rise Against and Dropkick Murphys for the following shows, with the dates also listed on Dropkick Murphys’ official tour page:
- 26 November: John Cain Arena, Melbourne
- 28 November: Meltdown Festival, Gosford
- 29 November: Riverstage, Brisbane
- 1 December: Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Sydney
- 4 December: Red Hill Auditorium, Perth
Check the relevant venue’s ticket listing for availability and entry conditions, particularly if you are moving an existing booking to one of the revised dates.
