Here’s What AC/DC Are Playing on the PWR UP Tour

AC/DC are back on the road for their first proper tour of North America in nearly a decade.

For those currently on the edge of their seat, I come bearing good news. The setlist is exactly what you’d expect. No gimmicks, no deep cuts for the nerds, just wall-to-wall bangers.

The PWR UP tour kicked off in Minneapolis on April 10, with Brian Johnson, Angus and Stevie Young, Matt Laug on drums, and new bassist Chris Chaney locking in for 21 tracks that barely gave the crowd time to breathe.

They opened with ‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)’ and didn’t let up. Five Back in Black tracks made the cut, including ‘Shoot to Thrill’, ‘Hells Bells’ and ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’. There was room for the new stuff too—‘Shot in the Dark’ and ‘Demon Fire’ off Power Up held their own alongside the classics.

‘Riff Raff’ and ‘Let There Be Rock’ both turned into extended Angus showcases, because of course they did. He’s still duckwalking, still sweating bullets, still making it look easy. Johnson held up just fine, even when the set hit the upper register.

There were no surprises, no slow moments. It was just two straight hours of AC/DC doing what they’ve always done. And based on the reactions from the crowd, I don’t think they’d want it any other way.

Full setlist:

The band will hit Europe after North America. But there is currently noise building around the band returning to Australia. Promoters are reportedly in talks to bring AC/DC home for the first time in almost ten years. If it happens, and this setlist stays intact, I would be expect packed Aussie stadiums and universally blown-out eardrums.
