Ho99o9 Release Album 'Tomorrow We Escape' Ft. Collabs With Greg Puciato & Chelsea Wolfe

Greg Puciato (Better Lovers, ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan) and Chelsea Wolfe have teamed up with Ho99o9 for their latest album, appearing on tracks ‘Tapeworm’ and ‘Immortal’

Rap-punk outfit Ho99o9 have just released their latest studio album Tomorrow We Escape, and features collaborations with Greg Puciato (Better Lovers) on the track ‘Tapeworm’ and Chelsea Wolfe on ‘Immortal’.

‘Tapeworm’ would feature Puciato’s screams over an intense, aggressive track as the singer would scream, “I’m tired of finding, I’m f****d from the ugliness inside”, before the song explodes into frenetic fury.

Immortal, on the flip side, would switch to a more sombre, dread-induced feel. Wolfe’s voice provides a soft, yet haunting juxtaposition with the previous tracks on the album.

In an interview with Dork, the group shared they wanted to add new elements to this album, adding breathing room from the intensity. “There’s still that attitude there, but to make something that feels a little more emotional and not so one-sided, that feels good,” co-frontman TheOGM shared, “because it just speaks to us being human. There are other things going on than just the politics.”

The group’s previous record Skin, dropped in 2022, a raw and erratic album that can feel like a marathon to sit through (in a good way!) However, frontman Yeti Bones told Blunt Magazine that “We approached this album differently from day one,” admitting they wanted to rethink their whole process.

Ho99o9 just wrapped their Australian tour last month, supporting The Dillinger Escape Plan after the metalcore group went on an eight-year hiatus. Ho99o9 will be starting their North American tour next week at the Basilica Hudson in New York.
