Ice Nine Kills Raise Over $100,000 for California Wildfire Relief with Benefit Shirt

Ice Nine Kills have truly stepped up for California. The band have now raised over $100,000 for wildfire relief through their Heed The Call For California benefit shirt. The exclusive shirt donates 100% of proceeds to the California Fire Foundation Wildfire and Disaster Relief Fund. Fans have until January 20 to grab one and support the cause.

Frontman Spencer Charnas reflected on the devastation and the band’s decision to take action. “Most of us live in California now, and we felt powerless watching the destruction,” he said. “But we knew if we called on our community, they’d step up—and they did.”

And step up they did. Ice Nine Kills’ fanbase, known as “Psychos,” rallied behind the cause, proving that the connection between the band and their supporters is as strong as ever.

For years, Ice Nine Kills has fused metalcore, punk, and theatrical flair into their horror-inspired anthems. Tracks like Hip To Be Scared and The American Nightmare have cemented them as a force in modern metal. Their Silver Scream albums, tributes to horror icons like Freddy Krueger and Patrick Bateman, propelled them to new heights.

But their impact goes beyond the music. With their immersive INKverse—graphic novels, fan-exclusive clubs, and the annual Silver Scream Convention—Ice Nine Kills has built a global network of fans who live within the culture the band has forged.

This community has now showed up when it mattered most. Raising over $100,000 in such dire times is no small feat, and it truly highlights the strength of their fanbase. It also shows that Ice Nine Kills truly know how to use their platform for more than scares—they’re actually here to make a difference.

Fans still have a chance to support the cause by purchasing the Heed The Call For California shirt or donating directly to the California Fire Foundation.
