By day, The Bronx are an all-punches-pulled, all-punches-landed punk band from LA with more ire in their fire than misguided arguments in a conservative. By night, they’re… Well, they’re still exactly that, but sometimes, they ditch the mosh pits in favour of margaritas and trade their tooth-rattling riffs for tantalising trumpets. Anyone that’s ever witnessed Mariachi El Bronx in the flesh can happily agree – this shit is good.
Currently in the opening slot on Violent Soho‘s unfathomably huge arena tour, The Bronx have announced a couple of one-off costume changes in Sydney and Melbourne. The sole headliner show will go down on Wednesday, November 2nd in Sydney’s Manning Bar, with a slot at Melbourne’s three-day The Lost Lands festival locked in as well.
Elsewhere, they’re spurring circle pits with scatterpaced hardcore jams in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth starting tonight. The Bronx released their fourth self-titled record back in 2013, with the second self-titled Mariachi El Bronx album crash-landing two years earlier.
