The wait is over. Knotfest Australia 2025 launches today at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse. The festival is set to ignite a series of heavy music festivals looking to sweep the East Coast.

Curated by metal titans Slipknot, the annual festival always promises an unforgettable experience for fans. But this year the lineup just feels that little bit more special.

Today’s Lineup Highlights:

  • Slipknot: Celebrating their 25th anniversary, Slipknot returns to headline with an extended set from 8:20 pm to 9:55 pm. The performance is set to deliver a career-spanning performance.
  • A Day To Remember: Bringing their unique blend of metalcore and pop punk, the Florida-based band returns to Australia for the first time since 2019.
  • BABYMETAL: The Japanese sensation known for fusing metal with J-pop elements is set to energise the crowd with their dynamic performance.
  • Within Temptation: Making their Australian debut, the Dutch symphonic metal band is set to add a melodic depth to the festival’s lineup.
  • Polaris: Hailing from Sydney, this metalcore outfit represents the local heavy music scene with pride.

  • Brisbane: Sunday, March 2nd at Brisbane Showgrounds.
  • Sydney: Saturday, March 8th at Centennial Park.
