Judas Priest are gearing up for another run across Europe, announcing their 2026 Faithkeepers Tour, a trek that arrives with the kind of mystery only a band this deep into their legacy can pull off.
The run may or may not be tied to a new record, but knowing Judas Priest, there’s every chance the engines are already revving behind the scenes.
The tour kicks off July 26th at Wileysportpark in Neu-Ulm, Germany, and barrels through Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Spain and the Netherlands before wrapping on August 23rd at the Loreley Amphitheatre in Goarshausen.
Priest’s European summers are the stuff of metal folklore, and the Faithkeepers run feels like a victory lap that could easily double as a curtain raiser for whatever comes next.
The band’s most recent studio album, Invincible Shield war released in March 2024 and delivered one of the strongest late era statements in their catalogue, a record that reminded everyone why Judas Priest remain one of metal’s most influential forces, decades after many of their peers called it quits.
Rumours of new material have been swirling, and guitarist Richie Faulkner has mentioned in past interviews that ideas were already taking shape, whether this tour becomes the road test phase for a new era or simply a celebration of their imperial streak, fans are unlikely to complain.
Judas Priest ‘War Pigs’ ft. Ozzy Osbourne
Priest have also kept fans fed with archival releases, including a blistering cover of ‘War Pigs’ featuring the late Ozzy Osbourne on vocals, a collaboration that now feels even heavier in hindsight.
