Kings Of Leon Announce 2027 Australian Tour With Ocean Alley

Share

Kings Of Leon are returning to Australia and New Zealand in February and March 2027, with Ocean Alley joining them as special guests.

Announced on Monday 19 October, the run includes outdoor shows in Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. The Australian dates begin at Centennial Park on 28 February, before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds on 3 March and Flemington Racecourse on 5 March.

The Auckland concert takes place at the Domain on 24 February as part of Live At The Domain. It adds a headline show to the band’s previously announced appearance at Christchurch’s Electric Avenue festival.

The tour will follow O My Beloved, Kings Of Leon’s tenth studio album, due on 6 November. The 13-track record includes ‘My Whole World’ and ‘Cold Blue Dawn’ and is being released through Love Tap Records, distributed by Virgin Music Group.

It is the band’s first self-produced full-length album. Speaking to the Associated Press, Caleb Followill described songs shaped by family memories, including the death of his mother and his own experiences as a parent. Bassist Jared Followill said the group had been free to explore that direction while producing themselves.

The album follows 2024’s Can We Please Have Fun and last year’s EP #2. That four-track release introduced the band’s independent Love Tap label and included ‘All The Little Sheep’, ‘To Space’, ‘Pit To The Rind’ and ‘The Wolf’.
