Kings Of Leon Announce New Four Track Release ‘EP#2’ Out This Week

Share

Kings Of Leon will release their new four-track ‘EP#2’ on Friday, November 7, featuring the songs ‘All The Little Sheep’, ‘To Space’, ‘Pit To The Rind’, and ‘The Wolf’.

Kings Of Leon are dropping a brand new four-track EP, ‘EP#2’, this Friday, November 7, marking their latest studio release since Can We Please Have Fun earlier this year.

The Nashville outfit revealed the news via social media overnight (November 5), confirming that the EP will include ‘All The Little Sheep’, ‘To Space’, ‘Pit To The Rind’, and ‘The Wolf’. Fans won’t have to wait long either, the record lands at 12am local time this Friday and is now available to pre-order and pre-save.

The announcement came with the EP’s cover art and a short teaser clip featuring a gritty guitar riff and frontman Caleb Followill belting out the line, ‘All aboard’. True to form, it’s got that southern bite and swagger that’s kept the band at the centre of modern rock radio for two decades.

The band also dropped a few cryptic posts earlier this week showing them back in the studio, hinting that there’s more on the way. “Thrills to chase, bills to pay, mouths to feed,” they captioned one image, a classic dose of Kings Of Leon weariness that fans have come to love.

EP#2’ follows Can We Please Have Fun, an album that saw the band dig back into their rugged, loose-limbed roots, a sound they seem to be sharpening again on this next release. Whether this new material signals a larger project or just another creative spark, it’s clear the Kings aren’t done chasing that raw, road worn energy that first put them on the map.
