Linkin Park to Release New Single ‘Up From The Bottom’ Next Week

Despite releasing an album and embarking on a world tour, Linkin Park isn’t slowing down. The band is due to release their latest single, Up From The Bottom on March 27.

The song was previously teased in the band’s ongoing LPTV: From Zero video series. There, co-vocalists Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong were spotted in the studio fine-tuning the track. The track marks the bands first release since their album From Zero in November of 2024. The record, which divided longtime fans, marked a new chapter for the band.

After all, it’s been a strange few years for Linkin Park. After Chester Bennington’s passing in 2017, their future was unclear. But last year, they made their official return with a reworked lineup, bringing in Armstrong (formerly of Dead Sara) on lead vocals and Colin Brittain on drums. Their comeback album, From Zero, was a reinvention—nostalgic enough to satisfy old fans, but with enough new energy to avoid feeling like a cheap revival act.

Now, barely five months later, they’re already moving forward. Whether Up From The Bottom continues the blend of old and new or takes things in a different direction remains to be seen. But one thing’s clear: Linkin Park isn’t just riding on nostalgia. They’re serious about this new era.

Shinoda admitted the transition back into Linkin Park wasn’t easy. “Two years ago, it felt overwhelming,” he told KROQ. “We let things happen organically—found Emily, found Colin—and it just started to feel right again.”

While not everyone has embraced the new version of the band, Linkin Park has made it clear they’re not here to please everyone. They’re moving on, making music, and proving they’re still a force.

March 27 will give fans a taste of what’s next. Whether it’s another evolution or a nod to their past, Up From The Bottom is about to set the tone for Linkin Park’s next move.
