Lorna Shore Share Brutal & Bloody Music Video For ‘Prison of Flesh’

Lorna Shore have shared a new video for ‘Prison of Flesh’ from their upcoming album I Feel The Ever Black Festering Within Me.

Lorna Shore have just dropped a brand new music video for their track ‘Prison of Flesh’ and it’s a bloody, gruesome one. ‘Prison of Flesh’ is a brand new track off the band’s upcoming album, I Feel The Ever Black Festering Within Me, releasing September 12 this year via Century Media Records.

The video, directed by David Brodsky, depicts a woman cannibalising her husband and later, having a xenomorph-esque birth while the band performs in a rain of blood.

If that sounds like something you dig, you can watch it below.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Will Ramos shares, This song is exactly what I imagine a lot of people expected of us to put out. We took all the heaviest stuff we had to create this incredibly dark, high-stress/tension song. I personally think the breakdown at the end of this is one of my favourites that we’ve ever written, and I’m excited to see how people engage with this one.”

Ramos would also connect the themes of the video to the song, sharing, The lyrics for this song are about my family and our history of dementia. The idea that the world is falling apart, and about the fear of losing touch with reality. ‘They’re coming to get me’ is my way of personifying ‘demons’ or something that makes you feel like you’re losing pieces of yourself. The closer they get, the further detached you become until you’re nothing but a husk of fear and delusion.”

I Feel The Ever Black Festering Within Me is Lorna Shore’s long-awaited follow-up to their 2022 album Pain Remains. Following the release of the new album, the New Jersey group will be jumping on tour to support The Black Dahlia Murder, Shadow of Intent and Peelingflesh for their North American leg.
