Maiden uniteD will bring their acoustic take on Iron Maiden to Australia for the first time in April and May 2027, with former Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton joining the band for three shows and audience Q&A sessions.
The Maiden unitedD run opens at The Baso in Canberra on April 29th, heads to Crowbar Sydney the following night and finishes at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on May 1st. Alongside the performances, Stratton will answer questions about his time with Iron Maiden, giving fans a chance to hear directly from a musician who played on their 1980 self-titled debut.
Led by bassist Joey Bruers, Maiden uniteD rework Iron Maiden songs as acoustic arrangements. The project began with a one-off performance commissioned by the Dutch Iron Maiden fan club and grew into an ongoing collaboration, with more than 40 musicians contributing onstage and in the studio.
The Australian lineup brings Bruers and Stratton together with The Eternal’s Mark Kelson on guitar and vocals, former Transcending Mortality and Numidia vocalist Mike Zoias, former Numidia and Hemina percussionist Nathan Mcmahon, and Burden Man keyboardist Mat Eichorn.
Watch an earlier performance featuring Stratton below, recorded in 2023 with a different lineup from the one announced for Australia.

Stratton’s career also includes work with Lionheart and Praying Mantis, while Maiden uniteD have built their own catalogue across five studio albums and multiple live recordings. The project celebrated its 15th anniversary last year with the European tour 15 Trooper Salutes, before announcing their first ever visit to Australia.
Tickets are on sale this Wednesday, November 4th.
