Nickelback have added a second Hunter Valley show to their 2027 Australian tour after all seven original dates sold out. The extra concert will take place at Roche Estate on Sunday, October 17th.
The band will now play two nights in Pokolbin, with the new date following their already sold out Saturday, October 16th show. This will be the only additional Australian show on the Everything Under The Sun Tour, with Don Broco returning as special guests.
Tickets for the new show go on general sale at 11am local time on Wednesday, November 4th. The artist presale opens Monday, November 2nd at 10am and closes Tuesday at 10pm. Live Nation and Face To Face Touring presales run on Tuesday, November 3rd, from 10am until 10pm, unless allocations sell out earlier.
The additional show comes on the same day as Nickelback release their 11th studio album, Everything Under The Sun, through Virgin Music Group. It’s their first album since 2022’s Get Rollin’, with 12 tracks moving between the heavier side of the band and more personal songwriting.
‘Rattle The Cage’, featuring John 5, topped the US Active Rock radio chart. Elsewhere, ‘Leave Me Behind’ deals with standing by someone through difficult times, while ‘If I Don’t Go’ addresses addiction and the decision to break destructive patterns. The album also includes ‘Make Me Love You’, which explores the uncertainty of opening up to someone new.
Chad Kroeger described the record this way:
‘Everything Under The Sun captures every side of who we are as a band. There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we love making music together‘
Don Broco have a musical connection to the headliners, too. Nickelback appeared on ‘Nightmare Tripping’, the title track from the English band’s latest album.
