‘November’: Megadeth’s Official Mascot Just Sparked Australia Tour Frenzy

Share

When Blunt revealed earlier this week that Iron Maiden are set to announce a November 2026 stadium run in Australia, with Sydney’s Allianz Stadium locked in, one question started circulating fast. Who’s coming with them?

Now, a quiet interaction from Megadeth’s verified Vic Rattlehead account has added serious fuel to the speculation.

On February 16 — days before Blunt broke the Iron Maiden November scoop — a fan messaged the official @vicrattlehead account asking about an Australian tour. The account reacted with a heart. Then came a single-word reply:

“November.”

No emojis. No “stay tuned.” No ambiguity about timing — just the month.

Megadeth are currently deep into their global farewell touring cycle, with confirmed dates across North America and Europe. An Australian leg has not yet been officially announced. But November now carries obvious weight, particularly with Iron Maiden’s stadium reveal imminent and support acts expected to be included.

The timeline is what makes this interesting.

The February 16 exchange occurred before any public reporting about Maiden’s November plans. That means the “November” reference wasn’t reacting to online noise — it pre-dated it.

Coincidence? Possibly.

But in touring terms, February is typically when routing locks, freight schedules finalise, and internal confirmations start circulating. Social teams often know month-level timing before formal announcements land.

Two legacy metal giants. The same month. Within days of each other.

If Megadeth are indeed circling Australia in November, it would align neatly with their farewell run — and potentially with one of the biggest heavy announcements of the year.

For now, nothing has been officially confirmed beyond that single word.

But November is starting to look very loud.

Megadeth’s current farewell world tour kicked off on February 12, 2026 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

That show marked the official start of what Dave Mustaine has positioned as the band’s final global touring cycle, following the announcement of their last studio album.
