Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance with Black Sabbath is heading to Blu-ray, vinyl and CD, with Back to the Beginning set for release on Friday, December 11th.
The announcement comes as the concert film begins its worldwide cinema run, giving fans another chance to revisit the Birmingham farewell that turned out to be Ozzy’s final night on stage.
Held at Villa Park on July 5th, 2025, the concert reunited Ozzy with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the original Black Sabbath lineup’s first performance together in more than 20 years.
It was also a night packed with some of metal’s biggest names. Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Tool, Gojira and Guns N’ Roses were among those who joined the celebration, just 17 days before Ozzy passed at the age of 76.
Now Mercury Studios is bringing the show home, with the December release available across 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, CD, vinyl and digital formats.
The film includes Ozzy and Black Sabbath’s final sets, while the Blu-ray editions come with additional footage of Jack Black performing ‘Mr. Crowley’ and Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst taking on ‘Changes’.

There’s also footage from behind the scenes, video tributes and a Sounds of Birmingham documentary exploring the city where it all began.
If you’re wanting the full collection, an expanded deluxe box set arrives on April 23rd, 2027. It includes three Blu-rays, two CDs, three vinyl records, a 72-page hardback book, an Ozzy pendant and additional memorabilia. A bonus disc features 35 songs and covers performed throughout the concert.
Sharon Osbourne, who oversaw the farewell and executive-produced the film, reflected on just how much the performance meant to her husband.
Ozzy suffered from chronic pain during the final six years of his life. His only wish was to perform one last time to thank his fans and say goodbye.
Looking back, it’s a remarkable final chapter. Ozzy got to share the stage with the band that started it all, surrounded by musicians who grew up on their music.
A new live video of ‘Mr. Crowley’ (above) has also been released, with pre-orders for the deluxe box set available now.
