A past Instagram post from Parkway Drive drummer Ben Gordon appears to refer to Jed Gordon as his brother, adding a new dimension to the developing story.
The post, shared from Gordon’s verified account in 2015, includes the caption “Brother beach selfie” and tags an account believed to belong to Jed Gordon. The image shows the two together at the beach and has begun circulating online as questions continue around the individual’s past connection to the band.

At the time of publication, the tagged Instagram account was not accessible and returned a “page isn’t available” message when visited. It is unclear when the account became unavailable or whether it has been removed.
While the caption appears to indicate a familial relationship, this has not been independently confirmed. The band has not publicly addressed any such connection.
In their public statement, Parkway Drive referred to him only as “the individual” and confirmed he is no longer associated with the band following a guilty plea to an underage sex offence.
The development follows earlier reporting that identified a court listing under the name Jed Daniel Gordon in Byron Bay Local Court. At the time, specific details of the charges had not been independently verified.
Parkway Drive later confirmed both the nature of the offence and that the individual’s involvement with the band had been terminated.
The resurfaced Instagram post adds further context to the individual’s previously documented connection to Parkway Drive’s touring and merchandise operation.
The post has surfaced less than 24 hours after Parkway Drive publicly confirmed the individual had pleaded guilty to an underage sex offence and was no longer associated with the band.
Blunt has contacted representatives for comment regarding the apparent reference in the post and whether any familial relationship exists. No further response had been received at the time of publication.
