Polaris announce Australian Spring tour feat. stacked line-up

Share

Sydney metalcore lords and one of our most prominent metalcore exports to date, Polaris, have given us as a nation yet another reason to wear our masks, social distance, and do whatever we can to cop a vaccine, announcing this morning their plans to load up the van and hit the highways of Australia for a run of headline dates this October. They’ll be bringing with them the literal who’s who of Australian heavy music, Make Them Suffer, Justice For The Damned, and Mirrors.

Still riding high atop the wave of success kicked up from the release of their masterstroke record, The Death of Me, Polaris will be bringing the album in a live capacity to most major cities this Spring, making this the perfect reward should we get our shit together and flatten the curve of this current clusterfuck of an outbreak. The Death of Me is proving to have unlimited replay value in numerous capacities, given the last outing in the name of the release saw the band cop more “sold out” signs than you could poke a stick at. The record would also appease industry big wigs as well as fans, earning an ARIA nomination as well as debuting at #3 on the charts upon release, a cosy spot normally reserved for the Ed Sheerans of the world.

Adding even more oomph to the announcement is the inclusion of Make Them Suffer, who are once again revving things up following the release of bone-shaking new single ‘Contraband’ featuring Courtney LaPlante. The line-up continues to impress the further down you go with Western Sydney’s favourite sons Justice For The Damned also confirmed, fresh from the release of their latest cut ‘Sever What Makes Me Like Them’ and last, but absolutely not least, Gippsland prog-metallers Mirrors, who have been turning heads and leaving mouths agape since the release of their 2019 EP, Cold.
