Poppy is bringing her ‘They’re All Around Us’ tour to fans worldwide with a global livestream of her Chicago show on March 21.
Announcing the news on Instagram, she made it clear that anyone who missed out on tickets won’t be left far behind. “Can’t make it to the ‘They’re All Around Us’ Tour? Livestream my Chicago show from House of Blues Chicago on March 21 – get your exclusive access on @veeps,” she posted. The stream is in partnership with Veeps, and tickets are already available here.
This comes right after Poppy’s performance of ‘The Cost Of Giving Up’ on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The track is from her latest album ‘Negative Spaces’. The album features some of Poppy’s heaviest music yet, which is also balanced with a certain sweetness too. Her music sounds like a warhead. Intense, in your face and slightly overwhelming to begin with. But the more you give it time, the more you settle in. The sweetness eventually reveals itself fully.
It’s been a busy run lately for Poppy. In December, she crashed Knocked Loose’s performance on the same late-night show, tearing through their joint track ‘Suffocate.’ The hardcore band also played songs from their 2024 album ‘You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To.’
Meanwhile, Poppy recently put her own spin on Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Taste’ for Triple J’s ‘Like A Version.’ She also dropped a t-shirt poking fun at the Grammys mix-up that confused her with Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante.
With a tour already in full swing, the livestream gives fans a chance to see Poppy’s latest evolution in real time. Whether you’re in the pit or tuning in from home, expect a show that’s entirely unpredictable. It can only really be described as ‘that’s so Poppy’.
