Ross The Boss will hit Australia in May 2025 to perform Sign of the Hammer in full, along with a set of MANOWAR’s most recognisable tracks.
For fans of MANOWAR, this is the kind of tour that doesn’t come around very often. Sign of the Hammer stands as one of the standout records from Ross The Boss’ time with the “Kings of Metal,” and hearing it live will be a moment for the books.
Ross isn’t just coming alone. Joining him on vocals is Marc Lopes (Metal Church), with Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray) on bass and former MANOWAR drummer Rhino will be behind the kit. It’s a solid lineup of players with enough experience to give these tracks the justice they deserve.
Ross The Boss whose real name is Ross Friedman has earned his place on the shelf of metal and punk history. He originally got his start with The Dictators, a New York band that ran neck and neck with The Ramones back in the day. Then came his years with MANOWAR, where Ross helped define their sound during their most important run. Since then, he’s kept busy with projects like Death Dealer, alongside Australian guitarist Stu Marshall, and his own Ross The Boss albums.
