Known for pushing the boundaries in every medium he touches, Tankian once again serves up a collection of hard-hitting tracks that blend decades of his musical journey into a sonic experience like no other.
The Foundations EP brings together five tracks, each drawing from Tankian’s vault of unreleased material, dating as far back as the early System of a Down days. From the heavy riffs of “A.F. Day” to the anthemic power of “Justice Will Shine On,” Tankian delivers with his trademark intensity and social commentary. And just like his previous work, the songs in Foundations are unapologetically political, emotionally charged, and musically diverse.
But it’s not just the music that’s grabbing attention—Tankian has also released a striking new video for “Cartoon Buyer,” which features his SOAD bandmate, John Dolmayan, on drums.
