Sharon Osbourne has linked two unreleased Ozzy recordings to his movie project, as work continues on the biopic and Ozzfest’s return in 2027.
“There are two songs Ozzy did for his movie project with Andrew Watt,” Sharon told HITS while discussing recordings still in the vaults. She did not name either track or announce a release date.
Watt had already discussed unreleased Ozzy recordings in a Rolling Stone interview covered by Kerrang! last month. He recalled listening to the material with Ozzy at his Birmingham hotel the night before Ozzy and Black Sabbath’s Back To The Beginning farewell concert, with the pair making notes together.
The producer worked on Ordinary Man in 2020 and Patient Number 9 in 2022, which featured Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi and Zakk Wylde. Beck appeared on the title track, accompanied by a Todd McFarlane-directed video that incorporated animated versions of Ozzy’s drawings.

The movie itself remains in development at Sony Pictures. “We’re on the fourth script now,” Sharon said, explaining that capturing Ozzy’s voice has been a challenge.
She said the story covers 1978 to 1996, taking in the end of his initial Black Sabbath run, his solo career and Ozzfest, alongside the couple’s struggle to stay together.
First announced in October 2021, the biopic was being developed by Sony Pictures and Polygram Entertainment with Rocketman writer Lee Hall attached. The original announcement outlined a film centred on Ozzy and Sharon’s relationship, featuring music from Sabbath and his solo catalogue.
Meanwhile, Ozzfest’s 2027 return has three confirmed stops: Milton Keynes’ National Bowl on July 10th, Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino on September 11th, and Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros on September 18th. Continuing construction at Villa Park forced the UK event to relocate.
The line-up remains unannounced, although Sharon told HITS that half was locked in and she hoped to bring the same bill to all three shows.
