Silverstein are heading back to Australia this August to celebrate 25 years of post-hardcore chaos.
The Canadian veterans have locked in a four-date run, bringing their 25 Years of Noise tour to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane with special guests Real Friends. The tour kicks off at Northcote Theatre on August 2. It will then hit Sydney’s Roundhouse, The Gov in Adelaide, before wrapping up at Brisbane’s Tivoli on August 6.
Silverstein have promised a setlist spanning their entire career. From early tracks from Discovering the Waterfront to newer material from their two upcoming albums, Antibloom and Pink Moon. “We are finally returning to Australia for a proper headline tour,” the band said. “We’re bringing our 25 Years of Noise tour down under, celebrating our entire career and our new albums. You don’t want to miss it!”
With two full-length records landing in 2025, Silverstein are just as prolific as they ever were. They’ve also remained a fixture in the post-hardcore scene since their 2000s breakout. Discovering the Waterfront became a genre classic, while A Beautiful Place to Drown (2020) earned them a Juno nomination for Rock Album of the Year.
Real Friends are along for the ride, bringing their brand of emotionally charged pop-punk to the tour. The Illinois outfit has been a fan favourite for over a decade now. Known for their heart-on-sleeve lyricism, the band have recently dropped Blue Hour, their first self-released album under their own label, Midwest Trash. Despite the band having a relentless touring schedule, they somehow still find ways to keep creative on the road.
For post-hardcore fans, this is the kind of tour that doesn’t come around often. So I would get tickets while you still can.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 21 at 1pm local time. Presales start March 19 for Vodafone customers, with Live Nation members getting early access on March 20. Tickets can be purchased here.
