Snake Sabo Still Not Interested in Reuniting with Sebastian Bach—Even for a Blank Cheque

If you’re still holding out hope for a classic SKID ROW reunion with Sebastian Bach up front, guitarist Snake Sabo has once again crushed the dream—politely but firmly.

Speaking on The Bad Decisions Podcast, Snake confirmed what he’s said before: it’s not happening. Not for nostalgia, not for a “blank cheque,” and definitely not for the fans begging in the comments.

“I’m not gonna do it and fake it for the blank check,” he said. “It’s never been about the money.”

Instead, SKID ROW are looking for yet another new singer following the exit of Erik Grönwall, who bowed out to focus on recovery after a long battle with leukaemia. Sabo spoke highly of Grönwall but admitted the band couldn’t keep cancelling tours due to health complications.

So now they’re back on the hunt. Auditions are ongoing. The door’s open—Snake even said they’re open to anyone, including women, and encouraged singers to reach out.

As for the Bach question, it’s not about bitterness. It’s about sanity. Sabo, Rachel Bolan, and Scotti Hill have stayed tight since the ‘80s, and they’re not willing to shake up the chemistry just to relive the glory days.

“Some really shitty stuff has been said about us,” Sabo admitted. “But we don’t respond. We just wanna play music and be happy.”

Bach, of course, has made his side known over the years—usually loud and in all caps—but the band’s stance hasn’t changed. They’re not dragging out the old drama just to cash in.

Meanwhile, SKID ROW are still pushing forward, writing music for themselves, not to appease anyone’s vision of what the band used to be. Sabo summed it up best: “If it’s ever not fun, we fix why it’s not fun—or we stop doing it.”

So, no reunion. No backpedalling. No fake smiles for the payday. And honestly, good on them.
