Sonny Fodera’s Sydney show comes with an ocean view and a crowd of around 250. The Australian-born, London-based DJ and producer will play The Clubhouse, North Bondi Life Saving Club, on Friday, October 23, 2026, for a one-off show presented by Bondi Lines in partnership with Vodafone Music.
Having played Coachella, Glastonbury and Tomorrowland, Fodera is used to a rather different scale. This time, the setting is a room overlooking Bondi Beach, with the appeal of catching an international festival name in considerably closer quarters.
His path to those festival stages began in the underground house scene. Fodera built his sound around groove-driven tracks that drew on Chicago’s club traditions, before moving towards a more vocal-led, pop-facing approach. That development has given him a catalogue spanning club-focused releases and crossover hits, taking his music well beyond the underground scene where he started.
‘Asking’, his collaboration with MK and Clementine Douglas, peaked at No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart. ‘Somedays’, with Jazzy and D.O.D., climbed to No. 5. Those chart positions give some context to the size of the act coming through The Clubhouse on a Friday.
Fodera is also nominated for Song of the Year at the 2026 ARIA Awards for ‘Think About Us’.
The North Bondi show puts that career in a smaller room. For anyone who has mostly encountered Fodera through those tracks or festival appearances, this is a chance to catch him in a setting with its own distinctly Sydney backdrop.
Register your interest through the LINES app for access to the free ticket release at 8am on Friday, October 23.
The gig is part of Vodafone Music, Vodafone Australia’s music platform. Vodafone customers attending can use a dedicated Fast Lane queue by showing an active service on arrival. It’s a perk for customers heading to the show; you’ll still need a ticket to attend.
