SPEED Announce All-Ages Sydney Hardcore Christmas Fundraiser Show

Share

Sydney icons SPEED have announced their annual all-ages Sydney hardcore Christmas fundraiser show, with attendees required to bring donations along for Project Kindness.

SPEED are hosting their annual hardcore Christmas fundraiser show in Sydney this December, with all ticketed entries requiring a physical donations of food or toys for Project Kindness to support Sydney’s most vulnerable. Alongside the donation drive, $10,000 from ticket sales will be donated to Merciful Group‘s ‘Welcome With Warmth’ program, which supports Palestinian refugees to relocate to Australia.

The hardcore Christmas event is taking place on December 7 at Liberty Hall in Moore Park, and while it’s being billed as SPEED’s ALL MY ANGELS EP hometown release show, it’ll also feature performances from End It (USA), Algor Mortis (Melbourne), Antenna, Scram (Yamba), and Hail Mary. Tickets are available now for $39.99 via Moshtix.

SPEED posted a breakdown of the fundraising and donation drive portion of Sydney HC Christmas alongside the announcement. One physical donation item is required per ticket entry for Project Kindness – these donations need to be either in-date, sealed, non-perishable food items like rice, long-life milk, or canned goods, and/or alternatively a new, unopened small toy.

This isn’t the first Sydney HC Christmas show SPEED have hosted – last year, the show featured acts including Shinto Katana and Potion, while $10k was donated to the Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre in Redfern.

The three-track All My Angels EP drops on October 23 via Last Ride in Australia and Flatspot Records in the US. This hardcore Xmas show will be the first time SPEED plays tracks from the project in Australia – so if you’re planning to be around Sydney in December and want to check them out live (and support multiple good causes while you’re at it), now’s your chance. Tickets are likely to go fast.
