San Jose hardcore outfit Sunami are coming to Australia this September alongside Outta Pocket for six intimate shows.
Announced just this morning, Sunami and their friends Outta Pocket are set to hit stages across Australia for some legendary shows, featuring a stacked support lineup.
Touring via beastworld, these gigs have been confirmed as the only dates on the Aussie run with very limited capacity. They’ll be hitting Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney, Penrith, Nambour, and Brisbane – extending an apology to Adelaide, as well as Perth and Caboolture, who have been promised shows “next time.”
Formed in 2019 as what was meant to be a short-term project, Sunami quickly became impossible to ignore. Their first live show was a full-contact spectacle that set the tone for everything to come: violent, visceral, and completely unhinged.
Instead of fizzling out, Sunami doubled down, dropping three EPs in quick succession before blindsiding the scene with their self-titled debut album in 2023. Released without warning, it ripped through the hardcore underground like a sledgehammer.
Praised for their punishing riffs, feral breakdowns and no-holds-barred delivery, Sunami doesn’t do anything by halves, and these shows are no doubt going to go off.
