Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile & Coco Jones Locked In For Super Bowl LX Pre Game Performances

Super Bowl LX is already shaping up to be one of the most star stacked events of 2026, with the NFL revealing the artists who’ll take the stage before Bad Bunny headlines the halftime show.

The league has confirmed that Charlie Puth, Brandi Carlile, and Coco Jones will kick things off on February 8th at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Puth will open the event with the national anthem, marking a major milestone ahead of one of the most watched broadcasts on the planet. Joining him in the pre game spotlight is Grammy winning powerhouse Brandi Carlile, who’s set to perform America the Beautiful, while Coco Jones will take on Lift Every Voice and Sing, a moment that feels overdue, given her rise from Disney alum to one of R&B’s most commanding young vocalists.

In announcing the lineup, NFL senior VP of global event production Jon Barker said:

Super Bowl Sunday is the world’s biggest entertainment stage, and we’re proud to spotlight artists who embody the very best of music and culture.

The event’s programming once again comes via Roc Nation, continuing Jay-Z’s multi year partnership with the NFL. CEO Desiree Perez added her own praise for the trio:

Charlie, Brandi and Coco are generational talents, and we are honoured to have them on Super Bowl LX’s world stage. This moment embodies the very best of culture, live performance, and our country, perfectly kicking off game day.

Puth clears up those Wicked rumours

The announcement follows a small social media flare up over the weekend, when Puth jumped onto X to shut down speculation that he auditioned for the Wicked films.

I never auditioned for Wicked. I would be so bad lol,” he wrote after a fan shared a list of alleged audition names for the 2024 adaptation and its upcoming sequel.

The rumoured list, which Puth insisted has nothing to do with him, featured just about everyone, from Jennifer Lopez and Shawn Mendes to Renee Rapp, Harry Styles, Nick Jonas, Dove Cameron, and more.

Super Bowl LX’s pre game bill looks set to deliver the exact mix of pop, soul, and powerhouse vocals the NFL loves to hype, and with Bad Bunny handling halftime, the spectacle isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
