Sweet Pill Announce New Album ‘Still There’s A Glow’ + Release Moody New Single ‘No Control’

Sweet Pill are stepping into a new chapter, announcing their sophomore album ‘Still There’s A Glow’, available March 13th 2026 via Hopeless Records.

The Philly/New Jersey five piece have paired the news with the release of ‘No Control’, a striking lead single that debuted on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music show, a track that swings between bruising heaviness and soaring emotion, letting vocalist Zayna Youssef rip straight through the middle.

“This is the first song we completed for Still There’s A Glow,” Youssef explains.

“At that time, I was feeling a bit…indulgent. Taking what I want, whenever I wanted it, and disregarding the world all at the same time. I felt like my self worth was cheap, and that I had no boundaries as a healthy person. I quite literally had no self control.”

She adds that the track became “my way to rock bottom… my fancy way of calling myself a pushover, unconfident, and ungrateful.”

If their 2022 debut Where the Heart Is marked Sweet Pill as one of emo’s most promising bands, this new record digs far deeper.

The past three whirlwind years, constant touring, festival slots, and co-signs from Hayley Williams and Doja Cat, left the band drained. When it came time to write again? They found themselves blocked, instead of forcing it, they scrapped nearly an album’s worth of material and started fresh.

That reset reshaped the band entirely.

‘Still There’s A Glow’ became their first album written fully as a group, leaning into the intensity of their live show while leaving room for quieter, introspective moments. Themes of burning down and rebuilding run through the tracklist, with Youssef confronting depression, growth, and the slow climb out of personal wreckage.

With recording helmed by Gradwell House’s Matt Weber and Dave Downham, Sweet Pill sound sharper, heavier, and more self assured than ever.
