The Lazy Eyes are officially taking Cheesy Love Songs around the country.
Fresh off unveiling details of their long awaited second album, Sydney psych rock outfit The Lazy Eyes have now locked in a huge Australian headline tour across September and October, marking their most ambitious national run yet.
The tour arrives ahead of Cheesy Love Songs, due out August 21st via AWAL, and signals a defining moment for a band that have spent the last few years rebuilding, refining and rediscovering exactly who they want to be.

Cheesy Love Songs
Rather than chasing bigger production or overcomplicating things, Cheesy Love Songs leans hard into simplicity, melody and emotional honesty, according to the band, the process behind the record became about stripping everything back and reconnecting with the core of what made The Lazy Eyes exciting in the first place.
Named after the first song they ever released, the album acts as a love letter to classic pop songwriting, full of dreamy hooks, bittersweet lyrics and the kind of warm psychedelic textures that made their debut SongBook resonate so heavily.
