The Wombats are heading back to Australia in September and October 2025. They will be bringing their signature indie anthems and new material from their upcoming album Oh! The Ocean.
With headline dates in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, plus appearances at the SummerSalt Festival in regional areas, the Liverpool trio are set for another huge run Down Under.
This marks their first Australian tour since last year when they headlined Rolling Sets Festival. This time round though, they’ll have a fresh batch of songs ready to go. Oh! The Ocean, out February 14, sees the band continuing their evolution with the help of new producer John Congleton. The album’s latest single, ‘Can’t Say No’, is a high-energy dive into reckless escapism, capturing the kind of youthful chaos The Wombats have always thrived on.
Since breaking out with A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation in 2007, The Wombats have refused to slow down. They cracked the UK Top 10 with This Modern Glitch, went viral with ‘Greek Tragedy’, and hit #1 with Fix Yourself, Not the World. Across their 20-year career, they’ve racked up over 2.5 billion streams, headlined arenas, and played to packed festival crowds worldwide.
Joining them for the tour are indie acts Bea and Her Business and Ra Ra Viper, while Del Water Gap will warm up the crowds in Brisbane and at all SummerSalt Festival stops. With festival dates and intimate headline shows on the itinerary, Aussie fans will get to see The Wombats in a mix of settings, from outdoor stages to some of the country’s most iconic venues.
Presale tickets go live at 12pm local time on Friday, February 14, with general sales opening Monday, February 17 at 12pm local time via Secret Sounds.
