Touché Amoré are coming back to Australia this July for their first proper headline tour in years, and they’re not showing up alone.
They’ll be joined by Militarie Gun, which, if you’ve been paying any attention, means you’ve already got no excuse to miss it.
The LA post-hardcore veterans will hit eight cities across the country. First kicking off at The Triffid in Brisbane on July 10, they will wrap it all up at Lynott’s Lounge in Perth on July 19. It’s a rare full stretch (regional stops included) so if you’ve been holding out since New Bloom, here’s your shot.
They’re touring off the back of Spiral In A Straight Line, their latest album and the most sonically unhinged they’ve sounded in a while. Produced by Ross Robinson (yes, that Ross Robinson), the record leans into chaos and clarity in equal measure.
And then there’s Militarie Gun. Call it hardcore, punk or brainy alt-pop with a busted nose. Whatever it is, it’s loud, it’s honest, and it moves fast. Their 2023 debut Life Under The Gun refused to sit still, and neither has the band. Between tours with Hockey Dad and a string of sweaty, sold-out headline shows, they’ve earned their spot. Expect hooks, feedback, and maybe a stage dive or five.
This pairing makes sense. Both bands thrive in that messy, emotional in-between space. Both sound like they’re pulling something out of their chest and slamming it straight into yours.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 23 at 11am local time via Destroy All Lines. Tickets can be purchased here.
