Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker scored the soundtrack to a major life moment—literally.
The long-time collaborators created an instrumental piece for the birth of Kelly’s daughter with Megan Fox, who arrived on 27 March.
The track, according to Barker, was written in 432Hz. This is a frequency often linked to calm and balance. He called the experience an “epic journey” on Instagram, while Kelly shared a photo of his newborn’s hands, writing: “She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed.”
It’s the first child for the couple, though Fox has three sons from her previous relationship with Brian Austin Green. Kelly has one other child from a past relationship. The baby’s arrival comes amid a publicly reported split between Kelly and Fox in December.
The relationship between Fox and Kelly has always been highly visible—sometimes chaotic. The pair met on the set of Midnight In The Switchgrass and went public shortly after, with Fox starring in Kelly’s ‘Bloody Valentine’ clip. Their social media presence was intense, but the cracks reportedly started late last year. TMZ claimed Fox left a trip to Colorado early, sparking talk of the breakup.
Following the split, Brian Austin Green stepped in to defend Fox publicly, accusing Kelly of pushing a dishonest narrative. “Stop caring so much about how you’re perceived that you will try and drag other people,” he wrote.
In recent years, both Fox and Kelly have been open about the darker sides of fame and love. Fox’s 2023 poetry book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous outlined her history with abusive relationships involving unnamed “very famous people.” Kelly’s 2023 single ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ touched on his own mental health struggles and referenced a lost pregnancy.
Whether or not the birth score ever sees an official release is unknown. Nevertheless, it’s likely sitting in the same emotional headspace as everything else the duo touches.
