Twenty One Pilots Announce Global ‘Breach’ Album Listening Parties

Share

Twenty One Pilots are giving fans the chance to hear their upcoming album Breach before its release, with a run of global listening events set for September 6.

The duo will partner with independent record stores worldwide, where fans can hear the album in full and take part in exclusive giveaways. Participating store details are listed on the band’s website.

Breach, due September 12 via Fueled By Ramen, continues the conceptual storyline that began with 2015’s Blurryface, and carried through Trench in 2018 and last year’s Clancy. It follows the release of lead single The Contract in June, and the recent reveal of the full tracklist by frontman Tyler Joseph via a cryptic Instagram Live stream.

The album will arrive less than 18 months after Clancy, which closed out with a massive world tour earlier this year. That run wrapped in London with back-to-back shows at The O2, shortly after fans in Manchester helped track down a stolen drum from the band’s set.

To mark Breach’s release, Twenty One Pilots have also announced The Clancy Tour: Breach, a North American run through September and October. The itinerary includes dates in Toronto, Los Angeles, Dallas, Tampa, Virginia Beach and more, with tickets available now. While no Australian dates have yet been announced we will be sure to keep you in the loop when they are.

The band’s last record earned a mixed reception from critics. While it was consistently praised for moments of experimentation, many felt that the record marked the duo playing it safe musically. By all accounts Breach is set to offer something entirely different. they are extending the world they have been building for nearly a decade and the listening parties are the first chance to step into that next chapter.
