Watch Travis Scott Debut Two New Tracks and Mash Up Drake at Coachella

Travis Scott made his long-awaited return to Coachella on Saturday night (April 12), and came out swinging.

He played two unreleased tracks, performed alongside a 60-piece marching band, and even made a viral Drake mash-up that had the crowd trying to figure out what timeline they were in.

It’s his first Coachella set since 2017, and as promised, he went big. Kicking things off with ‘Crush’—his collab from Playboi Carti’s MUSIC Scott set the tone early. It was going to be cinematic, chaotic, and loud. The marching band wasn’t just for show either. They backed him with full brass power, adding heft to an already loaded set.

The new material came fast. ‘Oh Jacques’ (a nod to his real name) and ‘She Going Dumb’ both made their live debuts and were teased with giant text flashing NEW SHITTTTT across the screen—just in case the crowd needed reminding they were witnessing a premiere.

Then came the viral moment. Mid-set, Scott dropped the instrumental for Drake’s ‘Nokia’ and rapped ‘Modern Jam’ over it—a mash-up that’s been floating around social media for a minute and made its live debut here. It shouldn’t have worked, but it did.

He also crammed in fan favourites like ‘Goosebumps’, ‘Antidote’, ‘Sicko Mode’ and ‘FE!N’ (twice, because why not), throwing in a few Utopia cuts and guest verses from the Playboi Carti and Future universes for good measure.

Was the set tight? Not really. He showed up late, and the haze of smoke made it hard to see much of the “grand visuals” promised on the posters. But Travis doesn’t deal in precision—he deals in spectacle. And on that front, he delivered and then some.

The performance came with No album announcement, no obvious next move. Really, of all things, it was just a reminder that when it comes to putting on a show, Scott sits in category above his peers.
