Wunderhorse Announce 2025 Australian & New Zealand Headline Shows

Share

Wunderhorse are coming to Australia and New Zealand in 2025—and they’re now bringing some fresh headline dates with them. Due to support Irish post- punk rockers, Fontaines D.C. on the road, the English band will now play Sydney’s Metro Theatre on March 4 and Wellington’s Meow on March 13.

Wunderhorse—Jacob Slater, Harry Fowler, Peter Woodin, and Jamie Staples—burst onto the scene in 2022 with their roaring debut album Cub. The record, packed with raw, intense energy, earned praise from fans and critics alike. They also rather quickly found themselves on tour with legends like Pixies, Foals, and Sam Fender. Which is not bad if you ask me, for a band that began as Slater’s solo COVID-19 project as a means to keep himself occupied.

The band recently released their second album, Midas upon the world. Earning similar praise from fans and critics alike, Wunderhorse have quickly become a critical darling.

Now, the British rockers are set to bring their high-octane sound to Aussie and Kiwi fans. With stops in Perth, Brisbane, Wollongong, and Auckland, it’s clear Wunderhorse are ready to make their mark. Their blend of gritty post-punk and emotional rock will hit you hard—whether you’re a long-time fan or a newcomer.

Pre-sale tickets drop November 27 at 11am (local time) with the code MIDAS. General sales start November 28 at 11am. Given their fast-growing fanbase, expect these shows to sell out quick.
