Wunderhorse Lock In 2025 Australian and NZ Tour Dates

Share

Fresh off the back of their searing 2024 release Midas, UK outfit Wunderhorse are finally heading our way.

Originally slated to join fellow scene-mates Fontaines D.C. earlier this year, the Cornwall four-piece wasted no time making up for their absence. They have since locked in the headline run across for September of this year.

The run kicks off in Auckland before rolling through Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and wrapping up in Perth.

It’s the latest stop in a fast-climbing career that kicked off with their 2022 debut Cub. Where Cub introduced a band with promise, Midas delivered on it. The 10-track follow-up cracked the UK Top 10 and sharpened their sound into something heavier, rawer and more exposed. The album was recorded at the iconic Pachyderm Studio, the same space where Nirvana tracked In Utero. Perhaps tasting from a similar cup, Midas has captured Wunderhorse at their most direct and unforgiving.

Frontman Jacob Slater sums it up perfectly: “We wanted it to sound like your face is pressed up against the amp. No frills, no polish—just pure, uncut rock’n’roll.”

The band—Slater, Harry Fowler, Peter Woodin and Jamie Staples—have already shared stages with Sam Fender, Foals, Pixies, and Fontaines D.C., and are now stepping firmly into their own spotlight. Their live show is a no-bullshit, full-volume experience: tight without sounding sterile, messy in all the right places.

With Midas still burning hot, this run feels like the right band at the right moment—and likely the last time you’ll catch them in venues this size. Tickets can be purchased here.
