Yellowcard and Good Charlotte are teasing a ‘Bedroom Posters’ re-release, just over a month before their Australia and New Zealand tour begins.
Yellowcard and Good Charlotte are hitting Australia and New Zealand together next month, and it looks like they’ve decided to mark the occasion with a collaborative re-release.
Ahead of the tour kicking off in February, the bands have teased a refreshed version of Yellowcard’s single ‘Bedroom Posters’, originally released last year. The track comes from Yellowcard’s 2025 album Better Days and is set to be re-released on January 16, landing just over a month before the tour gets underway.
The tease arrived via a shared social media post that leaned hard into the nostalgia both bands have built their careers on. “Close your eyes and imagine you’re back in the bedroom where you found your favorite band. Lying in bed with your Discman or iPod on its last sliver of battery. Yellowcard and Good Charlotte will take you there. 01/16/26,” the post read.
‘Bedroom Posters’ was first released in August. It later appeared on Better Days, which dropped in October and marked a significant moment for Yellowcard – the album was their first since their 2016 self-titled release and followed the band’s 2017 split. Produced by blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who also played on every track, the record signalled a full-scale return rather than the type of brief reunion we’ve seen from other acts in the past.
The timing of the re-release lines up neatly with the upcoming tour, which will see Yellowcard and Good Charlotte joined by Australian favourites Kisschasy. For Good Charlotte, the run marks their first proper tour of Australia since appearing on the Download Festival lineup in 2018, and sees them hitting Bendigo for their Victorian tour date rather than the usual Melbourne CBD and surrounds, thanks to Visit Victoria.

Speaking about the return late last year in an interview with Blunt, Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden said he “felt more at home in Australia than I did in New York or LA. I felt like it was a bit more like the town we grew up in…in how we related to people, we just got along in a way.” Joel Madden added that the band “really started our whole career in Australia, in a sense,” given it was where they got their first international hit and were on magazines and the radio. “We were living the dream down there.”
Good Charlotte are touring in support of Motel Du Cap, their first album in seven years. Before that, 2018’s Generation Rx felt like a closing chapter, until the band reunited five years later to perform at Sofia Richie’s wedding.
