A Perfect Circle Add Intimate Sydney Show After First Date Sells Out Instantly

A Perfect Circle are officially giving Sydney fans one more shot.

After tickets for their December 11th show at the TikTok Entertainment Centre disappeared fast, the band have now added a second and final Sydney performance at Carriageworks on Thursday, December 10th, this one feels like a very fun option.

The industrial Eveleigh venue is about as far from a polished arena experience as you can get, dark, cavernous and packed with atmosphere, it feels tailor made for the hypnotic weight of A Perfect Circle’s catalogue.

Sydney second show details

Artist Presale: Tuesday, May 19th at 10am – Friday, May 22nd at 9am local time
Mastercard Presale: Tuesday, May 19th at 10am – Thursday, May 21st at 10am local time
Live Nation Presale: Wednesday, May 20th at 10am – Friday, May 22nd at 9am local time
General On Sale: Friday, May 22nd at 10am local time

Considering the band haven’t toured Australia since 2013, it’s not surprising demand has exploded this quickly.

Formed by Billy Howerdel and Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan back in 1999, A Perfect Circle carved out their own lane in alternative rock almost immediately with 2000’s ‘Mer de Noms’. Tracks like ‘Judith’ and ‘3 Libras’ helped define an era where heavy music still felt emotionally volatile rather than algorithmically engineered.

More than 25 years later, the band’s pull clearly hasn’t faded.

This upcoming run also marks a rare Australian appearance from Puscifer, Keenan’s shape shifting experimental project alongside Mat Mitchell and Carina Round. Equal parts performance art, electro rock fever dream and absurdist theatre production, Puscifer live shows tend to feel less like gigs and more like beautifully controlled public breakdowns.

The pairing makes sense too, while Tool often leans into crushing precision and mythology, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer both thrive in stranger emotional territory, tension, unease, vulnerability and weirdness stitched together with towering sound design.

For Australian fans, this tour also lands at an interesting moment, nostalgia tours are everywhere right now, but A Perfect Circle don’t really operate like a legacy act. Their music still feels cold, tense and deeply human in a way a lot of reunion era alternative rock simply doesn’t anymore.

Seeing that unfold inside Carriageworks instead of a giant arena? That’s probably about as close to ideal as this tour gets.
