Architects Release ‘Broken Mirror’ And ‘Everything Ends’ Remixes As New Era Sharpens

Share

Architects ‘Broken Mirror’ remix and ‘Everything Ends’ remix have finally surfaced, with the UK metalcore mainstays flipping two of their biggest recent tracks into something more atmospheric and stripped back.

The release lands as the band kick off their US headline tour, and it feels less like a throwaway extra and more like a signal of where they’re heading next.

Reworking The Hits

Both tracks originally appeared on 2025’s ‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’, a record that saw Architects stretch further into melody without losing their weight, these new versions, handled by drummer and co-founder Dan Searle, push that evolution even further.

‘Broken Mirror’ and ‘Everything Ends’ are reimagined with a lighter touch, trading raw impact for texture and space, it’s not a full departure, but it does shift the focus with less punch, more atmosphere.

Fans have been circling these versions for a while. ‘Everything Ends’ in particular has been floating around as an outro track during their 2025 shows, while ‘Broken Mirror’ snippets have been teased online, now they’re finally here in full.

A Turning Point, Not A Detour

There’s a sense this isn’t just about revisiting old material, these remixes feel like a transition point, a way of reframing what the band have already built before moving forward again.

Architects have spent the last few years navigating that balance between heaviness and accessibility, and ‘The Sky, The Earth & All Between’ captured that tension clearly, it landed at No. 7 on the ARIA Albums Chart, pulling together everything from aggressive cuts like ‘Blackhole’ to the more polished edge of ‘Everything Ends’, which pushed into mainstream rock territory.

These reworks sit somewhere in between, not heavier or softer, just different.

Limited Pressing Available

Alongside the digital release, the band have also announced a limited 7-inch pressing featuring both remixes, giving fans something tangible from this in between moment, whether this points toward a broader sonic shift or just a creative reset before the next full release is still unclear.

But Architects rarely do anything without a reason.
