25 years on
Originally released in 2001, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket became a defining moment in Blink-182’s career, it served as the band’s fourth studio album and the highly anticipated follow up to 1999’s breakthrough smash, Enema of the State.
The record helped cement Blink-182 as one of the biggest bands in pop-punk, delivering a string of hit singles that remain fan favourites more than two decades later. Tracks including “First Date,” “The Rock Show” and “Stay Together for the Kids” became staples of the band’s live shows and helped introduce a new generation to their energetic blend of punk rock, humour and heartfelt songwriting.
